Ant-Man 2 has a cool design of villain character

The plot of "ant-man 2" is so cluttered that the first half of the movie has to push the story forward with a lot of expository dialogue, which makes Paul rudd's character, for the most part, fail to successfully and effectively explore more aspects of the character. And like many of MCU's films, "ant-man 2" is uninspired and uninspired in its prose, with a tendency to overcut. The whole movie revolves around McGuffin in the "quantum realm", from the plot to the characters, which makes these deliberately designed content lack of original power and independence and become the plaything of the "quantum realm". But when it comes to action, ant-man 2 is instantly transformed and has a very marvel high level of entertainment, whether it's the car chases, the battle scenes or the interlusive comedy sequences that are fun and effective.

Ant-Man 2

In terms of character development, the new villain ghost has a cool design, but the story driven problem of the whole film is not enough. The character doesn't lower the movie's standards, but the quality of the villain lags far behind the recent success of the MCU villains. That's not all bad, of course, because what's unique about the ant-man series is that it's able to show more of Kurt lang as a regular guy and a fan, which is important in an increasingly unconnected MCU, and it doesn't take a strong villain to show his heroism. "Ant-man" series is a comedy after all, Paul rudd's harmless comedy foundation, completely balanced the absolute female No.1 Evangeline lilly in the whole film's "straight guy" performance, provides a strong support for the classic comedy partner mode.
