In March this year, Apple launched the Apple TV Channels service, which attracted a lot of attention from the media and Apple fans. Apple has also launched a new Apple TV App for the new Apple TV channels service. Apple's new service allows you watch content from various platforms in a single App, without the need for a jump. Apple TV Channels is ad-free, supports offline watching and can be shared with family members.

Apple TV Channels are services that you can subscribe and watch videos directly in a single TV app. For example, you can subscribe to CBS All Access via Apple TV Channels. If you do so, all billing is processed through Apple itself and the video is hosted by Apple. This means you watch it directly in the TV app on Apple devices.

There are also third-party apps that integrate with the TV app, but that are not Apple TV Channels. For instance, content from Hulu and Disney+ will appear in your “Up Next” queue, but you’ll be kicked out to the appropriate app to watch the content.

HBO was originally one of the earliest supporters of Apple TV Channels, but alongside the debut of HBO Max in May, support for Apple’s platform was dropped. Existing users can continue accessing HBO Now, but HBO Max is only integrated with the TV app, not with Apple TV Channels.

Apple TV Channel offers a series of massive streaming services

Apple TV Channels are working to integrate streaming services from multiple platforms into its TV APP. This is user-friendly, improves the user experience and reduces the number of times users switch between platforms. But that seems difficult at the moment, with many streaming services reluctant to work with Apple TV Channels.

Wow if apple can integrate all streaming sevices into one app, I would buy Apple TV LOL. It's a great idea but not that easy to persuade all streaming companies.
