If you paid attention to he recent smart TV industry, you will find that this year's smart TV industry has a distinctive feature-breaking through 65 inches, bringing large-size TVs to even 98-inch nodes. Since the picture quality technology is becoming more and more mature, at this stage, smart TV manufacturers need to do their best to present their picture quality advantages to users. However, if you want to change a large TV close to a hundred inches, how to install it at home becomes the primary problem. For family users, choosing a projectors is a better choice for both large-size screen needs and budgets.
In April 2020, a brand new smart projector has been released in China-Dangbei F3 Home Projector, upgrading from the sucessful former flagship Dangbei Projector F1.
Design and features
The basic design of the Dangbei F3 Home Projector proves the power of simplicity. It is in grey and black color, easy to fit in different kinds of home designs. The frame hollow part of the Dangbei F3 projector is effectively used as a three-channel heat dissipation partition, the left and right sides serve as the main ventilation inlets, forming an important part of the heat dissipation system.
The Dangbei F3 Home Projector offers a crisp 1080p HDR picture, impressive 2,050 ANSI lumens, with 4GB + 64GB of large storage, support for automatic sensorless focus and automatic keystone correction, MEMC motion compensation up to 120Hz frames, should last you 30,000 hours before the image starts to degrade. With the benefit of Dangbei OS (truly all-in-one system) you'll find a lot more compact than your average smart TV. It may have more of a neutral pallet than some more vivid projectors out there, but for the all-round package and quality, you can't do much better.
Regarding those physical connections, Dangbei F3 has fitted a pair of HDMI ports – ideal for the aforementioned Blu-ray player or wiring the Dangbei F3 up to a home cinema amp – and two for USB (two 3.0) to access content from an external hard drive or USB stick. There is also an Ethernet connection for wired internet, which we’d always recommend using for greatest speeds and bandwidth when streaming from online.
While providing everything you absolutely need to start enjoying big-screen movie nights at home, Dangbei F3 has most importantly not boxed its customers in, offering numerous ways to upgrade and supplement what the DangbeiMarket is capable of all by itself.
Picture performance
Often with products such as these, the importance of a strong performance is matched by the necessity of something near that being achievable with very little tinkering or scrolling through menus. The Dangbei F3 Home Projector sets its stall out early, and that’s much of what we love about it.
You’ll need to spend some time figuring out its ideal placement in your room, of course, but once the ‘screen’ is big enough, clearly focused and properly aligned – a little experimentation at first use will save you plenty of time next time you get it out – Dangbei F3 Home Projector here offers a mightily impressive picture straight from itself.
The Dangbei F3 Home Projector has a number of presets that’ll make wholesale changes to the picture, and it’s well worth giving each a try, but we’d suggest going for the User setting and just making a few tweaks depending on light and the surface onto which you’re projecting.
The Dangbei F3 Home Projector prices hover around $600, you can check the detail from Tmall, there is no doubt that this is a projector that's absolutely worth the price.
