Dyson announced the launch of a new wearable device: Dyson Zone.
Dyson Zone is an air-purifying headset that combines headphones with an air purifier and is equipped with active noise cancellation.
Dyson Zone uses an innovative contactless mask that integrates a dual purification system with built-in digital motors through the air compressors on both sides of the earmuffs, which not only blocks contaminated air from the outside and effectively filters pollutants and harmful gases, but also delivers clean airflow to the wearer's breathing area, bringing a pleasant, comfortable and refreshing breathing experience.
According to Dyson's introduction, the Dyson Zone air-purifying headphones have undergone six years of intensive research and development, with a total of more than 500 iterations of the model, combining Dyson's professional filtration technology accumulated over the past three decades, combining cutting-edge filtration, acoustics and airflow technology, before creating its first wearable device.
In the process, Dyson's engineers conducted rigorous testing, for which a group of simulated mannequins with mechanical lungs were developed to breathe like humans, allowing engineers to more accurately test the airflow through the headphones.
As Dyson's first high-end audio technology product, Dyson Zone air-purifying headphones are equipped with advanced active noise cancellation technology, effectively shielding external noise while bringing immersive, high-fidelity music to users
It has three built-in active noise cancellation modes, including immersion mode, call mode and pass-through mode. In addition, the Dyson Zone air-purifying headset also offers four air purification modes: low, medium, high and auto, allowing users to enhance their experience with their actual situation.
Dyson said that the Dyson Zone air-purifying headphones will be on sale this fall, although the specific parameters and prices have not yet been announced.
