Many projector users have been bothered by the projector's heat problems. Why does the projector get hot? And how to dissipate the heat of projector effectively? Let's check it out.

1. Why does the projector get hot?

One very important component of the projector is the light bulb. Projectors want a clear picture, one of the first conditions is to have enough brightness, so many projector bulbs are very high power. So when we turn on the projector, the light bulb starts to run in the small space inside the projector, it takes us about two hours or more to watch a movie with the projector, and such a long time of work will make the light bulb of the projector generate a lot of heat. But the projector has its own heat dissipation fan, the projector generates heat at the same time, the heat dissipation fan will also send out the heat, so the projector radiator hole will discharge a lot of hot air, this is a very normal phenomenon.

Due to the development of the intelligent era, the projector industry complies with the requirements of the majority of people to produce many projectors with built-in intelligent systems, which leads to the increase of the internal accessories of the projector. When the projector works, each accessory will generate heat, the heat of the projector will naturally increase a lot.

But the heat generated by the above projector is within the normal range, that is, the heat emitted by the artificial feeling projector is warm. But sometimes when we touch the projector, we feel that the shell of the projector is very hot, which may be a problem with the heat dissipation system of the projector. If the projector's working time is too long, such as the projector has been working for five or six hours, then its heat dissipation rate will greatly decrease, heat accumulation in the internal can not be excluded will lead to the projector shell heating or even hot. Or the radiator hole of the projector is blocked, resulting in the heat of the projector does not send out, the internal heat that has been gathering will also cause the body shell of the projector hot.

2. How to dissipate heat of projector effectively?

If the heat dissipation of the projector is not timely, there will be many problems. From a small point of view, the projector works in a high temperature state for a long time, which will greatly reduce the efficiency of the projector and shorten the life of the projector. Even more, the projector can not be very good heat dissipation, heat in the internal space of the projector continues to increase, which will lead to the projector lens, display chips, optical machines and other components have been burned. So the heat dissipation of the projector must be done well, we can ensure the effective heat dissipation of the projector through the following aspects:

1. Installation environment

We need to put the projector in a ventilated environment, and the projector around and the body of the projector do not accumulate other debris. And do not put the projector in a high temperature environment, which is not conducive to the heat dissipation of the projector.

2. Regular cleaning

Because most of the radiator of the projector is hollow design, the circulation of air will make a lot of dust accumulation in the position of the vent, if a long time does not clean up will lead to the air inside and outside the projector is blocked, that is, the cooling rate of the projector decreases, the projector will naturally be hot. So we need to regularly clean up the dust and debris accumulation inside the projector. We can usually go to the place where the projector is specially repaired for dismantling and cleaning.

3. Ensure heat dissipation

The continuous working time of the projector should not exceed four hours. The previous article also said that the continuous working time of the projector will lead to the weak heat dissipation function. When the projector needs to run for a long time, it is best to let the projector rest for half an hour or so every four hours, so that the projector can cool down, so as to ensure its heat dissipation rate.

In addition, when we do not use the projector, do not worry to cut off its power supply, because the power supply is turned off the projector's cooling fan will stop working, so the waste heat inside the projector will not be able to diffuse out. We should first use the remote control or the top off button to turn off the projector, and wait for the cooling fan to dissipate all the waste heat inside the projector, and then cut off the power.
