LG C9 and B9 OLED TV key differences: is C9 worth the $200 apart?

What are the key differences betweem LG C9 and B9 OLED? As a new oled model in 2020, LG C9 is highly recommended by media and big shopping websites. In comparison, the former flagship LG B9 OLED is considered to be one of the most budget OLED model from 2019 to 2020. As the official configurations indicate, the LG B9 OLED and the LG C9 OLED are similar in most features (include definition, general brightness, size etc.) The only difference in hardware is their picture processor, which provided better optimization for the color, clarity and contrast of the image delivered on the screen of LG C9.

Is LG C9 OLED worth the $200 apart?

From many users reviews, they commited that the only difference could be told side-by-side is that LG C9 OLED is brighter. There is seemingly very little difference as there are really two chipsets in LG 9 series the core chip and a secondary one which handles HDMI 2.1

In my opinion, it might be better to choose LG B9 OLED for now, since the C9 only made small improvements of the B series.

The A9G2 chip in the C9 is supposedly better as post processing effects but according to others this is only in isolated cases.

The A7G2 chip in the B9 might have black frame insertion disabled though rtings thinks this is a bug rather than deliberate and this is a feature few will use.
