1. The Bose

When most people think of Bose, the first thing that comes to mind is its famous QC line of noise-cancelling headphones. Although headphones are clearly Bose's flagship consumer electronics product, the company started out as a professional sound system, and its expertise in home theater sound systems is not to be underestimated technically. Unlike high-end custom installations, the Bose home theater line is a fast-moving product, so most are simple, easy-to-use wireless speakers.

Taking Bose Lifestyle 650 5.1 as an example, the speaker products that compose the whole system are small and compact in shape, with simple design style. The system USES QuietPort wireless transmission technology and has console SoudTouch.

The connection method is not much different from the common wireless speaker system. The left, right and middle speakers are connected to the console SoudTouch through exclusive connection lines, and the two rear speakers need to be equipped with additional wireless modules to connect with the whole system. Bose also talked a lot about their connection technology. The biggest feature is that the surround speaker, OmniJewel, adopts a 360 ° sound design and has a two-way drive unit built in, which can create a more full and grand sound space.

2. DALI

DALI's first wireless sound system, CALLISTO, was launched in 2018, marking DALI's 35th anniversary. Thanks to the success of CALLISTO, DALI has reintroduced the RUBICON C series wireless speaker system.

DALI wireless products center on a Sound Hub that transmits hd audio wirelessly to speakers and automatically switches between multiple sources. DALI does not explain much about the wireless technology, which is based on today's mature transmission technologies, but it can transmit uncompressed 24bit/96kHz hd audio signals to speakers.

The Sound Hub provides both analog and digital input, automatically recognizing and transmitting the full range of music signals from a streaming media player to a digital TV. With a maximum transmission distance of 10m, the Sound Hub is large enough for most home users. Users can connect to the Sound Hub via bluetooth on their mobile phones. It supports AAC, apt-x and apt-x HD audio formats and plays MQA files.
