Last month Nintendo brought a 10.0.0 firmware version update to Switch users. I thought this was just a daily update, but some users found something worth paying attention to in the system firmware. According to the media reports, user Mike Heskin found data on the latest 10.0.0 version of the system firmware of the Switch, and found that the new version of the switch has added hardware support for the new version of Nintendo's dual screen new Switch named "nx-abcd".

Three of the five new DRAM files in the new firmware belong to this mysterious new hardware. It is reported that the code used by Switch Lite was "nx-abcc", while the long-life version is "nx-abcb".

In addition, the code also found that the new Switch code-named "nx-abcd" supports two video output interfaces , which seems to imply that the new hardware supports dual-screen display.

Previously, Nintendo President Furukawa Furukawa has made it clear that the new Switch will not be launched in 2020, but this does not mean that Nintendo will not continue to develop new machines.
