Samsung's 4K QLED 2020 TV products are now available in various markets. The official specifications of these models are quite detailed, but Samsung failed to specify its exact HDMI capabilities. In other words, it is unclear whether Samsung ’s 4K QLED 2020 TVs have HDMI 2.1 capabilities. Until recently, Samsung confirmed to foreign media FlatspanelHD that its 4K QLED 2020 TV lineup does support HDMI 2.1.

Samsung 4K QLED 2020 TVs support HDMI 2.1, Good news for Xbox Series X / PS5

According to Samsung's official introduction, all Samsung 4K QLED 2020 TVs, including Q60T, Q70T, Q80T, Q90T and Q95T have HDMI 2.1 function, but it should be noted that although all these models have four HDMI output interfaces (except Q60T ), But there is only one HDMI 2.1 interface in these ports.

The good news is that when connected to the upcoming Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles, the included HDMI 2.1 port will enable customers to benefit from features such as 120Hz 4K games (available through the transmission mode FRL).

But we also reminded that not all these models can make full use of the HDMI 2.1 port. According to sources, the Q60T and the smaller 49-inch Q80T models do not provide 4K 120Hz transmission via FRL.

At the same time, Samsung's 8K QLED TV models (including Q800T, Q900TS and Q950TS) support HDMI 2.1 and 4K 120Hz FRL transmission functions.
