"Put the sensor chip 3-5 cm under the armpit, you can measure the temperature for 24 hours, and the data can be directly reflected on the medical mobile phone." This is the latest set of wearables developed by the Beijing Academy of Edge Computing. The smart thermometer can be glued to the band-aid, and the temperature can be measured by sticking to the human body. It is very accurate.

Smart thermometer band-aid temperature measurement

The thermometer cooperating with the "clairvoyance" system developed by the Institute, provides support for the coronovirus pandemic prevention and control. It is the smallest and most accurate wearable continuous intelligent temperature measurement device.

According to Dong Jin, president of the Beijing Academy of Edge Computing, this thermometer contains an ultramicro chip, about one-third the size of a band-aid, and the chip is only the size of a grain of sand. When in use, the thermometer can be glued to the band-aid sticker, and the temperature can be measured by sticking it on the human body, which is very compact and convenient.

The smart thermometer's temperature measurement is very accurate, and the error can be reduced to 0.05 degrees Celsius. At the same time, its power consumption is also very low, and it can be worn continuously for more than 10 days with one charge. The device is a "band-aid temperature measurement" via wireless Bluetooth transmission, which can query data synchronously and export reports.

Since the outbreak of the coronovirus pandemic this year, about 300,000 people in Beijing have used the smart thermometer, including home observers, concentrated observers, and staff in key industries such as catering, housekeeping services and beauty salons. On August 7th, the Beijing Academy of Edge Computing announced on its official website that the smart thermometer has been put on trial by centralized isolation medical observers in Wuhan City of China.
