LCD monitors often have various problems during use, such as black screen, white screen, blurry screen, flickering, etc. So, what is the reason for the flickering of the liquid crystal display? Here we will introduce the reasons and solutions for the flickering of the liquid crystal display.

1. Why does the LCD display flicker?

Liquid crystal displays are digital signal displays. One of the most classic causes of LCD flicker is phase jitter. The causes of phase jitter include poor VGA signal output of the display card, incorrect refresh rate, poor display design, and damage to the display. In addition, the aging or damage of the display lamp tube and the low temperature of the display will also cause the LCD display to flicker.

2. How to solve LCD display flickering?

(1) If the VGA signal output of the display card is poor and the phase jitter causes the display to flicker, the solution is to replace the display card. If the display card has DVI-I, use the adapter to use the DVI interface.

(2) If the incorrect refresh rate causes the phase jitter to cause the display to flicker, it is best to set the refresh rate within the limits of 60 and 75 Hz.

(3) If the display flicker is caused by the phase jitter caused by the poor design of the display, it can only be adjusted in the menu. However, pairing with a good graphics card helps a lot.

(4) If the above three methods do not work, it is the display flicker caused by the damage of the display. In this case, send the LCD display for repair. LCD monitor repairs are not expensive.

In addition, the temperature of the LCD display is too low, which can also cause the display to flicker. Generally speaking, the operating temperature of the liquid crystal display is 0-40 degrees, and the storage temperature is -20-60 degrees. In this case, the temperature of the liquid crystal display can be adjusted manually, or a heating device can be added to the display. However, this reason is relatively rare, unless you are in a very cold place.
