TCL Smart Roku TV | 6 Most Common Problems and Solutions

1. How to get a larger picture?

• Play your movie/video and press the (*) asterisk button.
• Select Picture Size on your TCL 40s325 Smart Roku TV , select the picture size of your preference.

2. Is it with Bluetooth? How to connect my headset / sound bar?

Currently, the TCL 40s325 Smart Roku TV does not support Bluetooth.
TCL 40s325 Smart Roku TV will connect your speaker or soundbar by the Roku app, pairing it with your phone, and enabling "Private Listening". The app will only activate Private Listening mode when streaming net stream content, NOT something played from any other source, such as a media player. So if you're only streaming stuff, fantastic; if you're watching from a media player or other source, guess you'll have to try your luck with a transmitter.

3 What to do if cannot connect to Wi-Fi?
  • Select the correct wireless network name and verify the password entered on TCL 40s325 Smart Roku TV (case sensitive).
  • Relocate the router from objects that interfere with performance (cordless phones, baby monitors, etc. ).

Unable to update the software on your TCL Roku TV
As you are going through the guided set-up process of your TCL Roku TV (either for the first time or after completing a factory reset), and after successfully connecting to the Internet, your device will check for an updated software. It will automatically download and install the latest Roku OS version. During this process, you might encounter an error message "Cannot connect to Roku" or Error Code 011.
This occurs when your TV is unable to connect to the Roku Server and caused the software update to fail. Try the following steps below to resolve this error:
  • Wait a few minutes and select “Try again”.

The tv is 1080p, 2 HDMI inputs, the usb also serves as a multimedia input.
The sound is very good and does not saturate, the image is bright but I would not recommend it in a very lit enclosure because it is reflected.
Good wifi connectivity and the roku system works smoothly.
Good TV, functional as a mid-range monitor.
Excellent value for money.

The TV is very simple, the quality of the screen is very good and the system it has is very friendly and easy to use.
I personally give it to my mom and considering that because of age sometimes they no longer want to have conflicts with technology, Roku makes the interaction so easy that he has no problems or difficulties to select apps or channels specifically.
