TCL 50S425 Roku TV Review: advantages or disadvantages

TCL 50S425 Roku TV Review: advantages

1. Easy to use. Have your phone/tablet or a computer nearby to enter the code on the website to activate. The tv detects what else you connect and prompts you to enter what it is, which makes it simple to switch over to satellite, Fire tv stick, or whatever else you connect.
2. Picture quality, sound and overall brightness are all very good for the price. Blu Rays and "Ultra HD" Netflix look excellent.
3. The ROKU TV had lots of free channels.

TCL 50S425 Roku TV Review: disadvantages

1. The power cord is shorter than I need and it connects on the left rear of the TV while the 3 HDMI ports etc are on the right side behind the screen.
2. Some weird pixelation when viewing certain colors of purple and bright red.
3. Roku remote does not have a ton or buttons.
4. Bad side viewing angle. The wider the angle, the more the picture degenerates into a contrast-free blur.
5. The TV light is too bright at dark under the TCL logo.
