The Best TV for Gaming under $600

First choice: Samsung 50 inch Crystal UHD AU8000 Series -- 4K UHD HDR smart TV

  • Display size: 50 inches (also available in 43-85 inches)
  • Display type: LED
  • Built-in speaker
  • The input can be used for USB, Ethernet, HDMI
  • Three HDMI ports
  • Dimensions: 8.9 x 44 x 27 inches
  • Weight: 12.2 pounds
  • Internet Connection: Wi-Fi and Ethernet

The first recommendation for the best TV under $600 is the SAMSUNG 50-inch Crystal UHD, which offers a super rich visual experience. UHD stands for 4K Ultra HIGH definition, which is the standard for all the options on this list.

SAMSUNG Smart TVS feature dynamic crystal color technology that is brighter and sharper than most other TVS in their price range. It also comes with high dynamic range (HDR) technology, which means it has a wider range of colors between lights and shadows.

That's pretty much the standard for 4K TVS today. Like most TVS, the built-in speakers are of average quality.

Physically, the Class Crystal UHD is so thin that it becomes almost invisible when mounted against a wall using a thin wall-mount bracket. It's also light and easy to move. The overall look and feel of a modern TV is exactly what you want.

Alexa and Google Assistant are both built-in options, and SAMSUNG's General Guide home screen is relatively easy to use. However, in general, I recommend buying a Roku or Amazon Fire for the best multi-media experience.

SAMSUNG's click view lets you mirror your phone to your TV with a simple tap on a compatible SAMSUNG Galaxy device. You can also connect your TV wirelessly from your computer and use it as an external monitor for working from home.

SAMSUNG Class Crystal UHD also offers smaller 43 inches and larger sizes all the way up to 85 inches.

The second recommendation, Hisense 55-inch R6 Series Dubi Vision HDR 4K UHD Roku Smart TV, Alexa compatible.
  • Display size: 55 inches (65-inch models also available)
  • Display type: LED
  • Built-in speaker
  • Input available for HDMI CED/HDMI ARC, Ethernet, 1 USB 2.0, 1 RF antenna, 1 RCA composite video input, 1 L/R audio input for composite, 1 fiber digital audio output, 1 headset/audio output
  • Three HDMI ports
  • Dimensions: 57.2 x 32.8 x 2.9 inches
  • Weight: 36.40 pounds
  • Internet Connection: Wi-Fi

Hisense is currently the best 55-inch smart TV under 600 inches on the market. The tradeoff with hisense's 65-inch Class R6 Series 4K UHD is that at this price point, you get more size and fewer features than other smart TVS. It's not as thin and light as some other models, for example, and you can't connect via Bluetooth.

It has an excellent 4K Dolby Vision display, HDR and a good quality sound system. This is a Roku TV, so it uses Roku as its default home system.

The 55-inch screen size is clearly a big selling point here, making it one of the contenders for the best TVS under 600 inches. It has a decent refresh rate at 60 Hz, but many TVS under 600 inches have a refresh rate of 120 hz, so its rating drops slightly.

Third, INSIGNIA NS-50DF710NA21 50-inch Smart 4K ULTRA HD -- Fire TV

  • Display size: 50 inches
  • Display type: LED
  • Built-in speaker
  • The input can be used for USB and HDMI
  • Three HDMI ports
  • Dimensions: 27.8 x 44.4 x 10.4 inches
  • Weight: 25.40 LBS
  • Internet Connection: Wi-Fi

The INSIGNIA 50 "Smart 4K UHD TV is a fantastic 50" 4K ULTRA HD smart TV. It has all the basic features you need, with HDR and three HDMI ports for connectivity. Unfortunately, it doesn't have Bluetooth, but you can use it as a monitor through an HDMI port.

The picture quality is perfect for the screen size and is always amazing at 4K resolution. However, the color and dynamic range are not as powerful as some of the other options here, even though we're talking about very high image quality.

On the other hand, the 4K ultra HD screen is already a pretty big upgrade for most people, so it should be fine. It also only gets a refresh rate of 60 Hertz, but that should be fine for most programming.
