Why is your Android smart TV getting laggy?

For smart TVs, the smoothness of the picture is the key. At present, most smart TVs on the market will frequently appear to be laggy after long-term use, and this phenomenon is mostly caused by insufficient memory space.

First of all, when a software is installed on a smart TV, its bytecode will be compiled into local machine code. During the conversion process, not only the installation time becomes longer but also the local files after installation will be larger than the files before installation . Long-term accumulation will cause the storage space of the smart TV to become smaller and smaller, and the operating space of the system will be further compressed.

Secondly, due to the open source nature of the Android system, third-party software can obtain great permissions and can read, write and access at any location in the system, and will leave a lot of traces during such activities. When installing software the more, the more traces will be left. Even in the standby state, these software will not stop reading and writing and access, non-stop occupation of memory space as more software is installed, lags will appear more frequently.

In addition, smart TVs and computer systems have the same feature, that is, when uninstalling software or deleting files, often leave a lot of residual files, so more junk files of TV types, the smaller storage.

How to solve the problem of lags of smart TV?

We need to turn off the auto-start function of software that is not necessary to auto-start. Restoring factory settings is a common method to solve the abnormal problems of many equipment systems. When the remote control does not listen to the call and does not respond for a long time, it may be that the system is too loaded and can't run. After restoring the factory settings, all settings, installed software and cache trash will be cleared.

It is recommended that when you buy a smart TV, you should choose TVs that run CPU dual-core or above, the main frequency ≥1.5GHz, GPU dual-core or above, RAM ≥ 2G, ROM ≥ 8G. When the CPU and GPU processing power is strong, the RAM idle is greater than the system minimum remaining value, and there are few garbage debris files in the ROM, the smart TV will run smoothly.
