All high-power electronic products have a problem to be solved, that is the heat dissipation of the device. The same is true for smart projectors. Heat dissipation is very important. If the projector does not have a good heat dissipation, it will greatly affect the life of the projector. Let's understand the impact of the tropical zone in detail.

1 minute to know the importance of projector cooling

1. Impact on projection brightness and color

Since most home smart projectors now use LED light sources, overheating of the projector will have a serious impact on brightness and color. That is because the red light source of the LED light source is particularly affected by temperature. Too high or too low temperature will cause it to lose brightness. At this time, the green light source and the blue light source of the LED will simultaneously reduce the brightness in order to maintain the color balance. With the reduction of the brightness of the three primary color light sources, the brightness of the projector is naturally low. In addition, if the green and blue light sources do not reduce the brightness for the first time to maintain the color balance, then the color of the projected picture will be cast.

2. The impact on projection electronic components

The temperature resistance of the electronic components of the projector is also limited. If poor heat dissipation causes the temperature to be too high for a long time, the electronic components may appear deformed, which will not only affect the projected picture, but will make the projector serious. Stuck, dropped frames, forced shutdown, etc. That is because the core of the projector-the processing chip, the clock frequency of the chip will be greatly reduced at ultra-high temperatures, which will cause the projector to freeze and drop frames. No matter how serious, it will trigger the chip's self-protection function and force shutdown.

The consequences caused by the above high temperatures tell us that the heat dissipation of the projector is very important. When purchasing a projection, you must consider the effect of heat dissipation. A projector with excellent heat dissipation will naturally have a longer life. Of course, the daily dust accumulation of the projector must also be cleaned up, and we cannot rely solely on the heat dissipation of the projection itself.
