Samsung and LG are both great TV manufactures and well known to customers. If you are looking for a 65-inch smart LED TV, we could compare the Samsung NU6900 vs LG UM6900PUA with same prices $500 now at BESTBUY.

What are the same features?
1. LED display wtih 4k resolution, HDR and 60 Hz refresh rate.
2. Convenient streaming services: Apple TV+, Disney+, Google Play Movies & TV, Hulu, Netflix, Prime Video, SHOWTIME, Sling TV, YouTube.

What are differences?
Samsung NU6900 has digital clean view, purcolor technologies which benefits the picture effect.

Samsung NU6900 uses Samsuang Smart TV platform while LG UM6900PUA uses webOS. The operating systems are different.

Samsung NU6900 has only 2 HDMI inputs, 1 USB ports while LG UM6900PUA has 3 HDMI inputs and 2 USB ports. Samsung doesn't have component video inputs. LG supports HDMI HDCP 2.2 inputs (3).

As for smart home function, Samsung NU6900 works with SmartThings while LG UM6900PUA works with Apple HomeKit.

Samsung NU6900 doesn't include built-in voice assistant.

Samsung NU6900 was released in 2018 while LG UM6900PUA was in 2019.

Samsung NU6900 is thicker and heavier than LG UM6900PUA with stand.

Samsung NU6900 vs LG UM6900PUA: Which one is better?
I choose LG UM6900PUA. It is thinner, lighter and more HDMI and USB ports which are very important if I want to connect more devices to the TV. The pictures of both TV are very clear but I prefer LG.
