Do you need to buy an extra TV box since you can cast phone on a low-budget android TV

Hi all, I was thinking that we can cast our phone on android tv and watch whatever we want on our phone. Also we save a budget of subscribe some tv services because I have already subscribed on my phone.

I think tv box is needed but you don't have to buy a smart tv which may help you save some budget. Sometimes screen play may crash and it is not always smooth enough
