When you buy a projector, it is marked with brightness, such as 2000 lumens, but how do you measure it?:unsure: I was wondering🤖 Can anyone help me with that?

The brightness of the projector: "Light out" is the main technical index of the projector. "Light out" is usually expressed by light flux. Light flux is the ability to describe the visual response generated by the radiation of the light source within a unit of time. The international standard unit for representing light flux in projectors is the ANSI lumen, a method developed by the American National Standardization Institute for measuring light flux in projectors in the following environments:

1. The distance between the projector and the screen: 2.4 meters.

2. Screen is 60 inches long.

3. Measure the illuminance of each point on the nine intersection points of the grid-shaped with a light metering pen, multiply by the area, and get the brightness of the nine points of the projected picture.

4. Find the average brightness of the nine points, which is an ANSI lumen.
