Before building your own home theater, decide what you really want and your budget. Do you want
flatscreen TV or home projector? If choose projector, you should confirm projector model, the focal length of projector and size of projection picture. It depends on your viewing distance, the length and width of the room, whether the speaker is in 5.1 channel or 7.1 channel. Below we take 5.1 sound channel, projector and other equipment as an example to tell you the common wiring method.
In the case of confirming which functions and equipment we want, we have to see what kind of layout and specific size of the living room.
For example an open type living room space, the left side has a balcony, the length and width is 4500x3650. 3650 side for TV wall, according to the size, the view distance is about 4 meters, the size of the curtain is recommended between 100 and 120 inches.
According to the space, I built a model to describe the details:
The proposal installs 100 inches electric curtain, condole top is installed, curtain left side needs to leave 5 hole power supply, curtain is hanged if have side condole top to need to add load-bearing board (also can make it groove, at ordinary times do not see when can close up).
The curtain on the top need to release the thickness of the flat screen TV, conventional not less than 10 cm, distance after the curtain size to decorate good, according to the selected cast from the projector to confirm the size of the curtain.
Front main speaker on both sides of the curtain:
If have TV ark, do not need wiring, when the time comes, walk bright line can.
If there is no need to go through the line, the speaker line from the equipment cabinet to the location of the speaker, 0.2 meters from the ground, leaving about 0.5 meters outgoing line, equipment cabinet to leave more about 1 meter.
The center also uses a speaker line.
The subwoofer in front of the left main box and in front of the center is pre-placed. It is necessary to leave a five-hole power supply at the subwoofer, and a special subwoofer line 75-5 coaxis is required. Put in front of the words do not need wiring when the open wire directly connected to the amplifier can.
Two surround speaker cables:
On both sides of the back wall listening area, the speaker line is 1.8 meters away from the ground and 0.7 meters away from both sides. Leave 0.5 meters for the wire.
If do not need the speaker box that wall hangs, the line cloth goes to the two sides of sofa of rear wall, leave a bit more line, when convenient hind puts crural frame to receive a speaker box.
Projector HDMI line in 4.5 meters wide back wall center by the wall, outgoing about 0.4 meters, the same cloth to the front wall TV cabinet, remember that the projection end to leave power.
If there is a ceiling, the need to add load-bearing wood, a larger point for the convenience of the projector hanger installation.
Two HDMI cables are recommended, and other video cables are added according to your needs.
Notes:
All the speaker wires are collected from the terminal to the TV cabinet.
The video cable used by the projector is normally hd HDMI cable, and normally it is 2 cables, one of which is spare.
Projector video cable if you need to see PPT if the computer does not have HDMI port can be added to a VGA cable.
