For the moment very fit if we believe its latest financial results, Nintendo is nonetheless very attentive to all piracy or non-compliance with intellectual property surrounding its products.

Surveillance which has recently resulted in the filing of two complaints, as reported by Polygon . The first was filed in Seattle against nine websites, while the second was registered in Ohio against Tom Dilts Jr, manager of the UberChips site. The two complaints indirectly target Team Xecuteur, which sells tools capable of hacking the Nintendo Switch.

According to Nintendo, these sites therefore offer devices whose sole purpose is to allow hacking of the machine and launch pirated games. For the moment, only the UberChips site is offline, while the other nine continue to offer their services. For Nintendo, it is ultimately only the result of a long series of actions against Team Xecuter, since as Games Industry recalls , Nintendo had been able to prohibit access to four sites located in the United Kingdom and to a fifth based in California.
