LG Remote control bluetooth connection issue

Hi all I have a LG 4k 2017 TV, this afternoon I trun on the TV and the TV says "Bluetooth service needs to be initialized". Since I cannot connect my remote control to my TV, I cannot take any actions on my LG TV. I've tried to shutdown my TV and reboot. But after rebooting, it still says. Ive also tried new batteries and it made no difference. Can any of you help me with this issue. It drives me crazy

I have been having the same issue. I have tried all the solutions mentioned above with intermittent success.
After some looking around the web, I found a manual for the magic remote.
Holding the HOME button for 5 seconds sometimes works.
