The Now+ service embeds smart home control features directly into the TV interface, allowing users to effortlessly operate devices such as fans, light bulbs, and air conditioners without leaving the viewing screen. According to Samsung's official blog, Now+ not only offers direct control of smart home devices but also supports transforming smartphones into remote controllers, enhancing operational convenience.

The Daily+ service conveys information from SmartThings-connected devices to Samsung and Bixby systems, displaying relevant applications on the TV based on this information. Daily+ can also detect nearby smartphones, enabling users to use them as remote controls.

To facilitate user interaction with smart home devices, the Now+ service pops up the SmartThings TV shortcut panel on the side of the TV interface, listing all core functions without affecting the display of the main screen contents. Samsung has also showcased a clever feature: when users approach the TV, the screen automatically lights up, displaying key information about connected devices, such as home camera footage, room temperature, and remaining time on the washing machine.

Currently, details about whether these features require specific TV models or devices, and if remote control functionality necessitates specific Samsung Galaxy phones, have not been disclosed by the official sources.
