Sharp Launches New 4K QD-OLED and Mini LED TVs with AI and Vision-Tracking Tech

On May 14, Sharp unveiled eight new 4K QD-OLED TVs and five Mini LED TVs in Japan. All models feature AI-powered audio and visual processing, along with an exclusive eye-testing function to track users' vision health.

AQUOS QD-OLED Series: Brighter, Sharper
The new AQUOS QD-OLED TVs use quantum dot backlighting, delivering twice the peak brightness of traditional OLED TVs.

AQUOS XLED Series: Mini LED with Reduced Glare
The AQUOS XLED TVs combine quantum dot tech and Mini LED backlighting, boosting brightness by 1.5x over conventional models. They also feature nano-materials to minimize glare and reflections while improving viewing angles.

Eye Log: Vision Tracking for Users
A standout feature is "Eye Log", which tests vision using the Landolt C chart—a standard eye test where users identify the orientation of a "C" shape with varying gaps. Results can be saved for multiple users, helping track vision changes over time.

Additional Features
- Dolby Vision IQ & Dolby Atmos for premium HDR and sound
- Low-latency Game Mode for smoother gameplay
- Built-in TV recording
- Malware and virus protection

Sharp’s latest lineup combines cutting-edge display tech with smart health features, making it a strong contender in the premium TV market.
