Why Women Kill tells the story of three women living in the same house in the 1960s, 1980s and 2019, each having a marital crisis and finally embarking on a path of revenge killings. LGBT, Feminism, infidelity, coming out of the closet, ethics, three-way, quarrel, murder... The first episode alone showed all the popular elements of drama in a stew. The root cause of these marital crisis is not the so-called "third party", but the husband's first violation of the cornerstone of an open relationship - honesty. The premise of an open relationship must be openness, and both parties can develop other close relationships with each other's knowledge and approval. But once the loss of frankness, once there is a crisis of confidence, the contract will lose its binding meaning, will fall into Sartre and beauvoir's realistic dilemma.
