Why Women Kill Season 1 Review: Simone's Marriage, a Calculated Performance

Why Women Kill is a great mum show, and it's a great show in terms of class and leve. But at its core, it's shallow, it doesn't involve a lot of brain work. We'd say it's got a great narrative rhythm, but we wouldn't say it's a great show to talk about. The first three episodes, with their admittedly crisp editing and transitions, fast-moving plots and short bursts of intense conflict, provide a thrill to watch the play.

Simone's life is good, although is in middle age still attractive. Her husband is handsome with humor and knowledgeble. The couple has been married for ten years, everything seems to be just right perfect. She had two bad marriages, but chose to marry a third time. After being exposed as the current scandal, her quick and dirty treatment and affair with a young boy reveal the second dilemma of marriage - social fame. The reputation inside the circle of the upper class, the envy of the other people, insult added to the injury, watching by, all these are great shackles.

After the passion she returned to the party table with her husband playing a loving couple, in the kitchen in the face of a simple mind, a young lover who questioned, she said, "he is my husband, I won't hate him". All this makes one wonder if marriage is not a calculated performance, how long will it last?
