Sony PS5 is launching VRR variable refresh rate worldwide one after another this week, and the first batch of supported games include a total of fifteen, the list was officially announced.
Sony says Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support will begin rolling out to PS5 players worldwide this week. On HDMI 2.1 VRR-compatible TVs and PC monitors, VRR dynamically syncs the monitor's refresh rate to the PS5 console's graphics output.
VRR can significantly reduce or eliminate visual distortion (such as screen tearing issues). Many PS5 titles will be smoother to play due to faster scene rendering times, sharper image quality, and reduced input latency.
