In 1917, at the height of the first world war, two 16-year-old British soldiers were ordered to go to the front line of death immediately to send a message to their generals to "stop the attack now." The time is only eight hours, the weapons ammunition is limited, no one knows the enemy in front of: dead silence, full of bodies of barbed wire, the enemy to break in, the danger of death at any moment...... This time, two young people to save 1,600 lives, or die!

A sense of time is an important element in a movie. The lead in the movie "1917" have to arrive at the destination on foot before daybreak, midway through the trenches, barn, houses, rivers and waterfalls, both man-made and natural scene scene, the audience in the transformation of the scene once lost track of time, and even some moments like Blake and scoop fe, roaming in the beauty of flowers bloom, the taste of milk is delicious, reminiscent of the ups and downs of life compared to the unreasonable of war.

The war scenes in "1917" are not disappointing. The final shot makes people hold their breath to feel the inevitable escape on the battlefield, the bullets are short of eyes, and people experience the pressure and fear of the soldiers in their surroundings. However, they mostly win by atmosphere. In particular, the music adds to the atmosphere, with a sense of tragedy and desolation. The vocal singing in the latter part brings out the final tranquility of the soldiers who are about to die, revealing the deep homesickness.
