In 2023, Philips release the MiniLED TV Xtra series, including Philips 9308 and 9008 series, the former will provide two models of 55 inches and 65 inches, and focus on cost performance.
The Philips MiniLED TV "Xtra Series" will feature a 120Hz, 98% DCI WCG panel capable of 1000nit of brightness and feature a 64W 2.1-channel Bowers & Wilkins sound system with Kvadrat Audiomix fabric used on the OLED+908.
While it's not completely bezel-less like OLED TVs, it still appears to feature a dark ultra-narrow metal bezel frame with a thin brushed black glossy strip at the bottom of the screen to match the open frame stand.
The 9008 series includes three versions in 55, 65 and 75 inches, all with 4K120Hz 1000nit panels, equipped with 40W 2.0 sound system and stand. Of course, Philips 'Xtra Series' TVs have '3 Sided Ambilight' technology built in.
