Unboxing Experience

AKASO WT50 Mini Projector:

The projector has a sleek and compact design, roughly the size of a Samsung Note, making it highly portable and ideal for various uses. Its weight gives it a premium feel, and it fits easily into a backpack or luggage, which is a significant advantage for those on the go. The inclusion of a standard quarter-inch mounting screw allows for versatility with tripods, enhancing its functionality. Overall, I found the design to be well thought out and aesthetically pleasing, which adds to the excitement of using it.

TMY Ultra Mini Projector:

From the moment I unboxed the TMY Ultra Mini Projector, I was struck by its sleek and compact design. The projector is small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, making it incredibly easy to transport. It has a modern aesthetic that blends well with any decor, making it an attractive addition to my tech collection. The lightweight nature of the device is perfect for those on the go, and I love how it can fit into my travel bag or even my purse.

Viewing Experience

AKASO WT50 Mini Projector:

The viewing experience has been predominantly positive, with the picture quality being notably sharp and bright, even in somewhat lit environments. I was able to project images for various activities, such as cookie decorating and watching movies, with impressive clarity. However, I did notice that the projector performs best in darker settings, and while it can project large images, it occasionally requires some tweaking for proper alignment. The internal speaker is decent, though I found it beneficial to connect external speakers for a richer audio experience.

TMY Ultra Mini Projector:

The viewing experience with this projector has been impressive, especially considering its size. The image quality is vibrant and sharp, and while it's best in dim lighting, I found that it still performs well in ambient light. With a resolution that supports 1080P, it brings movies and presentations to life. The short throw feature allows for a larger projected image without needing to place the projector far away, making it a great option for small spaces. However, I did notice that the built-in speaker's volume could be quite low, so connecting a Bluetooth speaker is advisable for a more immersive experience.

Yaber T2 Projector:

The viewing experience with the Yaber T2 has been nothing short of fantastic. The resolution, while not true 4K, is impressively detailed, allowing me to see every pore on the actor's face during films. Color reproduction is generally excellent, though it can depend on the broadcast quality. I found that watching higher-quality content like 4K programs resulted in vibrant colors, while some lower-quality streams fell short. The sound quality from the built-in stereo speakers is commendable, with clear dialogue and immersive background sounds, though I still prefer connecting to my external soundbar for optimal audio.

Update on the AKASO WT50 Mini Projector: The company reached out and fixed the issue! I only got to use it once before it stopped working. The picture it shows when I turn it on looks like the one I shared. The seller wouldn’t help me, even though it came with a 2-year warranty.

Check out the TMY Ultra Mini Projector! It’s super portable and I’m using it with my Steam Deck while camping. Plus, it has Type-C charging, which is pretty cool and hard to find!
