Amazon will restart to sale Apple TV

After a two-year hiatus, both the fourth-generation Apple TV and the new Apple TV 4K will return to Amazon.com later today. According to CNET, amazon does plan to resume selling apple's living room device and Google's Chromecast HDMI dongler, as the online retailer's popular Prime Video service finally makes its way into apple's set-top box.

"I can confirm that we're classifying Apple TV and Chromecast," an amazon spokesperson told the press.

Product pages for 32GB Apple TV, 32GB Apple TV 4K and 64GB Apple TV 4K, as well as those for Google's Chromecast and Chromecast super, are now live on amazon.

These gadgets are not yet available for sale, but customers should expect them soon.

Three months ago, a list of 64 GB Apple TV 4K models from a purported Apple supplier appeared on Amazon.com. However, the suspicious item was out of stock from the beginning, and the list quickly disappeared from Amazon.com.

Amazon defended the withdrawal of Apple TV from the shelves of its virtual store two years ago, saying it was important that any streaming device they sold interact well with Prime Video.

However, Apple TV's Prime Video will be gone for years as the two giants cannot agree on mutually beneficial terms. Apple TV was pulled from Amazon.com because of the dispute "to avoid customer confusion."

The revival of Apple TV sales was likely to be part of the deal from the start.
