Parrot just showed the new Anafi USA drone, which is characterized by being ready to be deployed in one minute, with a battery life of 32 minutes, and support for flying in the rain. In terms of function, it is equipped with a front anti-shake three-shot, thermal imaging sensor that supports 32x zoom @ 4K HDR video recording, but weighs only 500g (1.1 pounds). The price is only up to 7000 US dollars, which means that it is more focused on commercial areas, such as emergency search and rescue, infrastructure inspection, and military purposes.

Although initially involved in the consumer-grade drone market, the European drone manufacturer clearly also wanted Anafi as a commercial drone platform, such as the Anafi Thermal launched last year.
Combined with two 21MP cameras and a Flir thermal imager, Anafi USA allows the operator to see objects 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) away.
It is worth mentioning that the aircraft has passed IP53 certification, which means it can fly in rainy and dusty conditions. And supports 512-bit AES-XTS algorithm, which can encrypt and store all anonymous flight and offline data on the onboard SD card.

Anafi USA implements signal transmission through a WPA2 encrypted Wi-Fi network, and performs digital signature verification on all firmware updates, taking full account of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance requirements.
The machine is also compatible with Pix4D graphics software and supports a wide range of proprietary applications and services, such as Survae, DroneLogbook, Kittyhawk, Dronesense and Planck AeroSystems.
Parrot said that Anafi USA drones will be available for pre-order on July 27 and will be available in retail channels in August (such as Drone Nerds and RMUS dealers).
