Apple today pushed the iOS / iPadOS 15.2 update (internal version number: 19C56 | 19C57) to iPhone and iPad users.

iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 add Apple Music Voice Control, a new tier of subscription services for accessing music using Siri. The update also includes "App Privacy Reports," the "Digital Legacy" program and other features and bug fixes for iPhone and iPad.

Apple Music Voice Actions

  • Apple Music Voice is a new level of subscription service that lets you use Siri to access all the songs, playlists, and stations in Apple Music.
  • "Just Ask Siri" suggests music based on your listening history and preferences.
  • "Play Again gives you access to a list of your most recently played music.

Privacy
  • "The App Privacy Report in Settings lets you see how often the App has accessed your location, photos, camera, microphone, contacts, and other content and its network activity over the past seven days.

Apple ID
  • "Digital Legacy lets you designate someone as a legacy contact who can access your iCloud account and personal information after your death.

Camera
  • Macro photo controls can be enabled in Settings on iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max to switch to an ultra-wide-angle lens for macro photos and videos.

CarPlay

  • Enhanced City Maps for supported cities in Apple Maps show road details such as turn lanes, medians, bike lanes, and crosswalks.
