Apple TV+ app is available on the 2016/2017 LG Smart TVs

Apple TV apps are already available on a variety of different platforms, including smart TVS, game consoles and Amazon's Fire Stick or Roku streaming devices.

Apple also unveiled an "Apple TV+" app for older LG webOS TVS.

The Apple TV app is available on 2018 and newer LG webOS TVS. This special Apple TV+ app is for 2016 and 2017 models.

Although the name and logo are different, the actual experience of the app is the same as that of the TV app, except that you can only watch TV + content. In addition, the app lacks "Watch Now" and other iTunes store labels.
