Apple launched its video streaming service, Apple TV +, last year. It was popular because of low subscription prices and perks, but had to say it had too few original shows, despite a reported $6 billion investment in original TV show.
Quality original TV show is undoubtedly an important part of the streaming platform's appeal to users, which makes it easy to understand why netflix has been spending so much money on it every year while Disney +, which already has so many shows, has gotten so much attention since its launch. Apple doesn't have much of an edge in that area, and it now says it won't offer reruns, which means the company will need to spend more money on original TV show to make more good original shows.
