Apple holds its annual WWDC developer conference in June to unveil new products and new operating systems. As June approaches, a source has revealed that Apple's Wacth Series 6 will include a new sensor, called a blood oxygen sensor. In addition, a new watch OS will be released to support more new health features.

Apple Watch

Currently, there is a high probability that Apple Watch Series 6 will support blood oxygen detection function, because relevant codes in iOS 14 showed that Apple Watch would support this function. Thanks to the push notification of Apple Watch, when the blood oxygen of human body drops, the Watch will push relevant information in time, so that users can know their own bodies and seek medical treatment in time.

The Apple Watch Series 6 will use high-precision sensors to detect mental health issues such as panic attacks. Panic attacks are also called acute anxiety attacks.

Other sources said that the Apple Watch Series 6 will be equipped with the latest generation of S6 chip, which is expected to achieve more lasting battery performance. That's why the Apple Watch Series 6 and watchOS 7 will also offer sleep monitoring. Thanks to the longer battery life, the Apple Watch can also be used for round-the-clock health monitoring.
