It's no surprise that Apple is going to introduce AR glasses, as they've already brought in ARKit and augmented reality optics for the iPhone X, and eventually bought wearable computer-vision company SensoMotoric.
Apple's augmented reality strategy will be divided into three phases. The first phase will be in the fall release of the iPhone. Then, in gaming, business and education, ARKit apps will trigger a 'developer gold rush'. And finally, Apple glasses."
