LED light source in the LCD TV is divided into Direct LED (DLED) and Edge Emitting LED (ELED). What's the difference between them?

1. The location is different: DLED is behind the LCD panel and led lights are in matrix displacement while ELED is installed at the edge of the panel LED lights so that the light source shines out from the side.

2. Energy Saving: Side-entry LED TVs are more energy-efficient compared to straight-down DLED.

DLED just means that the backlight was placed behind the screen, not on the edges of the screen.
