THQ Nordic has become a little monster over the past few years. In reality, it is the parent company Embracer Group (THQ Nordic, Koch Media / Deep Silver ...) which has become a giant in the world of video games as the various studios are acquired, and there are more games in development than ever.

In THQ Nordic’s last financial report, Embracer Group again took stock of its production, and the figures are once again on the rise. In total, 118 games are currently in development in the group's many studios, and 69 have not yet been announced!

Embracer Group also announces that its next fiscal year, which ends on March 21, 2020, will mark the arrival of its first AAA games from Metro Exodus. It is from there that several blockbusters will now be released every year.

With 31 internal studios and 3,500 employees in 40 countries, Embracer Group has a large portfolio of licenses acquired over the years. We can notably mention Saints Row, Snowrunner, Goat Simulator, Dead Island, MotoGP, Darksiders, Metro, Biomutant, MX vs ATV, Kingdoms of Amalur, TimeSplitters, Satisfactory, Wreckfest or World War Z for the best known.

The group has big ambitions and already has other studios in the process of opening. Its CEO Lars Wingefors is targeting the release of at least two AAA (blockbuster) games for the next fiscal year if all goes well. For the moment, the release of Biomutant , it is still not fixed, even if the development follows its course.
