First Impressions

This projector isnt meant to be portable, as you need to plug it in because it lacks an integrated battery. Still, its only 5.9 pounds and has automatic vertical keystone correction, so its quite easy to carry around. It doesnt have an adjustable stand, but you can change its projection angle slightly with its adjustable foot. It has one 2W monoaural speaker.
This LCD projector uses a lamp as its light source, which can last from 6000 to about 12000 hours, according to the manufacturer, after which youll need to swap the lamp for a new one. As its a 1080p projector, its limited to outputting a 1080p @ 60Hz resolution and doesnt have HDR support. Its 1.2x optical zoom lets you adjust the projection size without physically moving the unit.

Viewing Experience
The projector delivers impressive peak brightness, making it suitable for use in moderately lit rooms, although it performs best in darker environments. While the whites are bright, the blacks appear somewhat gray, indicating a lack of depth in contrast. The color performance is commendable for SDR content, adhering well to the Rec. 709 color space. However, it falls short with HDR content due to its lack of HDR support and struggles with the wider Rec. 2020 color space. Overall, the projector excels in brightness and color accuracy for standard content but has limitations in contrast and HDR capabilities.

Pros:
• Great picture clarity, even in bright light
• Easy to set up and use
• Suitable for outdoor viewing in shaded areas
• Can support large screen sizes (up to 100”)
• More reliable than traditional TVs for outdoor use
• Good value for the price compared to cheaper alternatives
• Effective auto keystone adjustment, despite minor issues

Cons:
• Loud fan noise in normal mode
• Auto keystone adjustment may require resetting upon power up
• Internal speaker is not very powerful; external speakers recommended
• Some durability issues after prolonged use (e.g., failure after 18 months)

Overall Impression:
The projector offers impressive picture quality and is a solid choice for outdoor viewing, especially in shaded areas. Its ease of setup and large screen compatibility are notable advantages. However, potential issues with fan noise, keystone adjustment, and durability may be concerns for some users. Despite these drawbacks, its performance and value make it a recommendable option for casual use.
