HelloFresh has announced that it will no longer use Glee's Lea Michele as its spokesperson, as co-star Samantha Marie Ware says Lea made her life a "hell on earth" during the filming. Samantha recently tweeted that Lea was "traumatic microagressions" that caused her to question her career in Hollywood.
It started when Lea tweeted a tribute to George Floyd, the black man killed by an American police officer, using the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter. "George Floyd didn't deserve to die like this.
Samantha retweeted the tweet in response:
In response to the allegations, HelloFresh tweeted, "HelloFresh does not tolerate racism, discrimination of any nature, and we are dismayed and disappointed to hear about Lea Michele. We take this matter very seriously and have dissolved our partnership with Lea Michele, effective immediately."
