I love the idea of cutting out cable bills, so I was thrilled to find that the built-in apps for streaming services like YouTube and Netflix were readily accessible without the need for additional cables. Being able to use it as both a television and a computer monitor made it even more appealing, as it seamlessly fit into my daily routine.

Viewing Experience​

As I started using the TV, I was genuinely impressed by the picture quality. The colors were vibrant, and everything looked sharp, which made watching movies and shows a delightful experience. I found that the brightness was just right, especially when I was outside on my deck. However, as time passed, I began to notice some inconsistencies that slightly tarnished my initial excitement.

Audio Experience​

Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a turn for the worse. The sound quality was a massive letdown—it felt tinny and hollow, as if I were listening to a tiny speaker from a distance. I often found myself cranking the volume just to make out dialogue, which was frustrating. I knew I might have to invest in a soundbar to elevate my audio experience, which I had hoped to avoid.

I initially enjoyed using the TV until it started acting up. The response time was painfully slow, especially when switching apps or channels. There were moments when I wondered if the TV had frozen altogether. It's disheartening to feel like I'm waiting longer for my TV to respond than I do for my laptop to boot up. I got this TV back in August 2023, and now it’s totally gone dark on me. I’ve got an older version of the same brand that’s still kicking! Plus, the sound on this new one is pretty terrible. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m retired and tight on cash, and it feels like I just got taken for a ride.

Man, the struggle is real! Every time I try to turn on the TV, I just get this annoying blank screen instead of my favorite HDMI channel with my trusty Roku. Seriously, it’s the only thing I ever use! The TV knows it's plugged in, but no matter how many times I switch to it, I’m still staring at nothing. The Roku is working fine and the remote’s lighting up, but the TV just won’t cooperate. And it’s in my bedroom, where I go to chill after a long day! Ugh. Plus, I gotta say, the sound quality is pretty lame too.

So, here's the deal: the TV's all good and functional, but when you hit the buttons on the remote, it takes its sweet time to respond—like 5 to 10 seconds sometimes! It's super annoying because you’re sitting there wondering if it’s totally frozen up on you. Now, to give it some credit, it hasn’t actually frozen on me; it just moves at a snail's pace.

It’s our second TV, mainly for football, and it does the job for that. But honestly, if you’re thinking about using it as your main TV, you might end up pulling your hair out with all that lag. Just a heads up!

Man, I gotta say, I'm pretty let down with my new Hisense A4 Series 32-Inch FHD 1080p Smart Android TV. The sound is super tinny, which is a bummer for binge-watching. Plus, the home screen is cluttered with stuff I can't even get rid of. The worst part? I can’t tweak any screen settings like brightness or contrast while actually watching something. So, here’s the deal: the casting feature was great for the first few days, but now it just won’t connect. I've tried all the troubleshooting tips and double-checked that everything's on the same Wi-Fi, but no luck.

Also, those stands they gave me? Total miss—they don’t fit the TV right, so it’s all tilted and looks weird. And don’t get me started on how slow things are online. Voice search? Yeah, that’s a total bust too.

The picture is decent, I’ll give it that. But honestly, if it were half the price, I’d say it’s an okay deal.

This TV is a total nightmare! It keeps dropping the Wi-Fi, and half the time the apps just refuse to cooperate. And don’t even get me started on how long it takes to turn on—it’s slower than my old Dell laptop! Seriously, what a hassle!
