Hisense TV screen was frozen with the image

After watching several YouTube videos, I went back to regular cable TV and the screen was frozen with the image that was showing on the channel. The TV doesn't respond to the cable remote, however it will respond to the app buttons on the Hisense TV remote. I've unplugged it for more than an hour and plugged it back in, same thing. I did a factory reset, same thing. I'm at a loss!! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Assuming the "cable remote" works on a "cable box", it looks lke that cable box is the culprit. Try turn off and turn on again, and if that doesn't help disconnect from power and connect again, and if that doesn't help try a reset (see the user manual) and if that doesn't help, try it with another TV or a monitor (if it is connected via HDMI or so).
