Homeland Season 8 E01: Carrie a double agent by Russia?

As a longtime fan of the Homeland, I has been loyal to the show since the first season and to say something about the E01. Carrie's loyalty and love for her country can't be questioned. She gave up her family and loved ones for homeland security, and even her sanity: remember one season when she stopped taking drugs to sharpen her instincts.

But at the start of season 8, even the most die-hard fans were hesitant. Of the 213 days of imprisonment in Russia, 180 were unverifiable and many failed the polygraph test. The death of Roshan, an informant in Kabul, five months before Carrie was jailed in Russia, has heightened the suspicions among viewers that she may or may not have revealed her informant's name. Is her selective memory a conscious choice, or Russian control?

Has Carrie, like Brody, been turned into a double agent by Russia? By the end of the first episode, even Carrie herself shudders as she sees Yevgeny, one of the agents interrogating her in Russia. Judging from the first episode, the odds are in favor of a tragic ending with Carrie either a second Brody or Quinn's fate.
