How can HDMI2.0 reach 4k120hz?

120Hz should refer to the refresh rate of the panel. But HDMI 2.0 does not support 4K 120Hz signal transmission. HDMI 2.0 only supports a 60Hz screen refresh rate in 4K screen transmission; HDMI 2.1 only supports 4K 120Hz screen transmission. As long as your host's performance supports 4K image output, you can display 4K images on the TV, but the HDMI 2.0 screen delay may be slightly higher than the computer monitor, but whether it is 4K interpolation algorithm or native 4K, you are watching now, there is few difference.

The 4k 120hz panel means the screen can display the highest refresh rate of 4k resolution 120hz. It does not mean that it can transmit 4k 120hz signals through hdmi2.0. The 120hz panel is mainly used to display the memc motion compensated picture.
