How to link your Nintendo NNID to your Nintendo account?

If you are an old Nintendo player, you probably already know how to link Nintendo's NNID to account. You can ignore the following or write down your own comments. If you are just starting to use the Nintendo Switch, you may have a Nintendo account and a network ID (NNID) but left the two accounts unlinked. Connecting a Nintendo account to a NNID can benefit your gaming experience, for example by being able to integrate your eshop funds across devices, for several reasons. Here's how to link your Nintendo NNID to your Nintendo account.

How to link your Nintendo network ID to your Nintendo account

If you have an NNID and want to link it to your Nintendo account, you can do so by visiting the account. You need the user name and password for the Nintendo account and nnid, so be sure to keep them handy.

1. Navigate from your web browser to accounts.nintendo.com.
2. Enter the email address and password associated with your Nintendo account.
3. Select user information from the menu on the left.
4. Scroll down and select Edit next to the associated account.
5. Check the box next to Nintendo network ID.
6. If prompted, enter the user name and password associated with the nnid.

Now, you can go to eshop on the switch and merge your funds so that you can use the same account to buy games on all Nintendo devices (at least three of them).

How to unlink Nintendo network ID to Nintendo account

I can't imagine any reason you want to unlink both accounts after linking them, but there's a choice.

Note: if you disassociate your nnid account from your Nintendo account, all funds will be transferred to your Nintendo account. If you re associate your account in the future, you can re consolidate your funds.

1. Navigate from your web browser to accounts.nintendo.com.
2. Enter the email address and password associated with your Nintendo account.
3. Select user information from the menu on the left.
4. Scroll down and select Edit next to the associated account.
5. Unlink the box next to the Nintendo network ID.

Are the methods above useful for you? Welcome to share your comments. We can also disscuse exciting and funny Nintendo games and experiences. I am looking forward.
