How to solve the Vizio TV M series Black Screen issue?

After a tired day, came home from work, sat down to watch a TV to relax. After watching for 10 minutes, the TV suddenly went blank. Are you angry? It's too late to find a respairement store. What to do if the maintenance workers refuse on-site service? Take a deep breath and calm down. Turn on the computer or mobile phone to check if there is a simple repair method. Yes, lucky. Are there any solutions to my Vizio TV M series black screen?

1. Check the power source and make sure whether it is the problem of the TV or the power. Is the power cutting off or burned out? Try on another power outlet.

2. Power cycle the television.

Unplug the power cord from the back of the TV or the wall outlet (whichever is easier to access.)
Hold down the power button on the side of the TV for 5 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord, and power on the television.

3. Press and hold the 'Mute' button on your remote for 5 seconds to ensure your screen isn't muted.

Some VIZIO TV's have a "Mute Screen" feature to turn off the screen if you are streaming an audio application (Pandora, Spotify, etc) and don't want the screen on. To activate/deactivate this feature, hold the mute button for 3-5 seconds.

4. Press the 'Menu' button on your VIZIO remote to see if the menu appears.
If the television is showing a menu, we can tell the TV is working. In this case, it's likely a problem with the device you have connected to your TV.

If the Menu button doesn't bring up a picture, it may be caused by hardware failure, such as power supply module failure, short circuit or open circuit of switch circuit, high voltage board failure, LCD screen or screen wire failure, motherboard chip or other parts failure. You have to contact the TV after-sales service or local repair store for help.
