Recently, LG launched an ultra-short throw 4K laser projector, the CineBeam HU915QE. This projector can throw a 90-inch picture from a distance of 5.6cm from the wall, or a 120-inch picture from a distance of 18.3cm. Is this projector any good?
With a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 and 3,700 ANSI lumens, this projector features three-channel laser technology with separate light sources for the RGB primaries for a better picture than devices using a single light source.
The HU915QE projector uses webOS to install apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube. Users can also connect to the projector via Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth.
In terms of audio, the HU915QE has a built-in 2.2-channel 40W speaker system, which can connect up to two LG Bluetooth speakers for a surround sound experience.
