The LG OLED B8 is a 4K TV with excellent picture quality, especially when viewed in a dark room. Thanks to the use of luminescent technology, it can produce a perfect deep black, and has excellent motion processing capacity and instantaneous response time. The image also remains accurate when viewed from an Angle, which is good for people with wide seats. This is not without its drawbacks, however, because the screen brightness can change depending on what might be distracting, and if you watch static content for long periods of time, you risk permanent aging.

Design

LG B8 OLED TV Detailed Review

The design of the LG OLED B8 is excellent. Due to its construction quality and fashionable design, it has the feeling of high quality. The design is almost identical to the C8, but with a different bracket. On the B8, the tv-supporting stand is not wide enough for most desks. If you choose a wall-mounted TV, most of the input will be easily accessible. The working temperature of the TV is very good, you should have no problem. Care should be taken when handling the TV as the panel is very thin and can easily be damaged if not handled properly.

Picture quality

The picture quality of LG OLED B8 is excellent. It has unlimited contrast and offers perfect black, so it's perfect for watching movies in a dark room. It has a good viewing Angle, can be viewed from the side without compromising image quality, and has excellent reflection processing capability. These features make it an ideal choice for large, bright guest rooms. When viewing HDR content, the highlights are bright and colorful. Grey uniformity is also very good and will please sports fans.

Input
LG OLED B8 has very low input latency in most input formats. Therefore, TV is very sensitive and will satisfy most gamers. It supports the most common resolutions, including 1080p-@120hz and chromophore 4:4:4, so it works very well when used as a PC monitor. However, 1440p is not supported.

Sound quality

LG OLED B8 has above-average sound quality. It becomes very loud, has a good impact on the bass, and produces clear dialogue. However, it lacks bass, so it cannot produce any thumping or rumbling that is common in movie and video game effects, and its room correction system is not very effective. For better sound, it is recommended to use dedicated speakers or strip speakers.

System

The LG OLED B8 runs on LG's smart platform, webOS 4.0. With a few common apps pre-installed, you can download more apps from LG's content store at any time, but not as many as the Google Play store on SONY TV.
