LG will unveil a 42-inch CSeries OLED TV at CES in January 2022 under the model name OLED42C2xxx.
LG's 42-inch OLED TV is expected to retail at a discount to the current 48-inch CX and C1 TVS. The line is expected to ship with HDMI 2.1 ports, support for HDMI-VRR technology, and possibly support for AMD's FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia's G-Sync Compatible.
Some information about LG's 2022 OLED TV series has already appeared online, with several new models appearing in the Korea Radio Research Agency's (RRA) certification database. LG announced the production of 42-inch OLED panels back in January 2021, but has yet to release a new one. LG is expected to officially unveil the device at the upcoming CES.
